


Dr. Kirsten A. Knowles, affectionately known as Dr. K, is an author, speaker, and education advocate with nearly 20 years of experience across K–12 and higher education. She is the founder of Archipelago Education Consulting, LLC, where she partners with schools, districts, higher education institutions, and nonprofits to develop strategic enrollment, marketing, and engagement plans, implement literacy and college readiness programs, and drive sustainable school improvement in historically underserved communities.
A native of The Bahamas, Dr. K is a dynamic author and speaker who uses the power of storytelling to inspire change and promote educational equity. Through her publishing company, Farmer’s Publishing House, LLC, she creates uplifting children’s books that center on diverse characters and teach timeless lessons about kindness, resilience, and self-worth. As a speaker, she engages audiences with messages rooted in hope, access, and transformation—drawing from her personal journey and nearly two decades of experience in education. Whether in classrooms, conferences, or community events, Dr. K uses her voice and stories to empower the next generation and spark meaningful conversations around equity and opportunity.
